Welcome to
Coventry Arts

Established in 2014, Coventry Arts offers an exciting opportunity for flautists, saxophonists, and clarinettists in Coventry and the surrounding areas. Our aim is to create inclusive ensembles that meet the needs of both experienced and aspiring adult musicians, addressing the lack of provision for adult instrumental groups. We explore a wide variety of music, working towards a series of performances and concerts held throughout the year. Just as important as the music is the sense of community we build—Coventry Arts is a welcoming space where members make friends, support one another, and share in the joy of making music together.

Charitable Chamber Concerts
Twice a year, once in the summer and again at Christmas, we hold a chamber concert at the All Saints church in Allesley to celebrate the hard work and talent of our members. These concerts are a wonderful opportunity to showcase everything learned throughout the term and are always well attended. Each event also supports a selection of local charities, and to date, we’ve raised over £6,500. After the performance, we invite everyone to join us in the church hall for refreshments and homemade cake—a warm and welcoming end to a special day.
During the 2020 Covid pandemic, when in-person gatherings were not possible due to lockdown restrictions, Coventry Arts continued to share music through virtual concerts. You can view one of those
performances in our media library.
At Coventry Arts, we’re proud to use our concerts and events as opportunities to give back to the community. Over the years, we’ve raised funds and awareness for a wide range of local and national charities, including:
The Movement Centre, Grace Research Fund, Crohn’s and Colitis UK, The Lighthouse Charity, The Royal Society of Musicians, Embrace, North Warwickshire Air Ambulance, Marie Curie, The Resource Centre for the Blind, Sherbourne Fields School, The Samaritans, The Enterprise Club, The OHMI Trust, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, and Hope Coventry.
We’re incredibly grateful to our audiences and supporters who help make this possible with their generous contributions at every concert.
